Congratulations to our two South Hall students who were invited into the 2026 GMEA District Honor Band: Antonio Flores (8th Grade – Bass Clarinet) and Charissa Rivas (7th grade – Alto Saxophone)!
The Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA) District Band is an outstanding performance opportunity for highly motivated band students. Students were selected via audition this past Saturday and will get to rehearse and perform a concert with a world-class clinician and students from across the region on Friday and Saturday, January 23rd-24th.
